Aloha yʻall
Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Starla Biz. March 11, 2011 was a scary day. This video shows the devastation to the country of Japan. All the news that came out in the days following was like something out of a movie, a movie you did not want to be in.
B3@k03 and I were REROCKING handbags, I wanted to find a charity to give to because the handbags were already made and wanted to be karmically cool with the design aspect of "already made". Before the Japan tsunami, a friend of ours house/music studio burnt down. The REROCKED handbags for BIRDS IN THE CITY will go to Conscious Groove Records. The music studio in the house was to help out the keiki of Oahu. The aloha that would have been shown to the youth of Hawaii did not go unnoticed and we wanted to give support to this selfless act.
Japan has had many fundraisers, this is personal because of a good friend that is there. An art piece can be purchased at the door, those proceeds will go to Red Cross Japan. After viewing this video I want to do more...BIRDS IN THE CITY, Slow Art Friday, May 20, 2011 from 7pm to 10pm. Lotus Downtown. 34 N. Hotel Street. Honolulu, HI.
