Aloha y'all...
This is my introduction to you the public as a fashion, music, and lifestyle location. I would like this to be a vehicle of sorts to express creativity, fun and style! Everyone has a dream and this is mine! Starla Biz
I am inspired by those that take life and make it their own. I am currently working with a local artist B3@K. He was kind enough to collaborate with me on a couple of handbags that will be shown at a local designers shop. The date is set for Friday, May 20 from 6pm to 9pm. I will be posting the invite soon.
Roberta Oaks is hosting the event at her shop on Pauahi street in C-town (Chinatown) in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her designs for both men and woman are sold locally at her boutique, in Honolulu at various other locations, the mainland, and Japan. Party frocks and a recent mens line of modern aloha shirts are her Name of the Game. Roberta is THE Hostess with the Mostest and I am lucky to have met her.
Mick Motor has shot a majority of my images. He has been a patient and inspiring partner in our photo efforts. His family worked to get me THE SHOT! Which will be the FACE OF STARLA BIZ! ROCK ON! I am introducing everyone to the peeps so you can see the combined creativity of what we do.
B3@K has inspired me since I have seen his "B3@K" around town. We had a mutual friend and I begged this friend to introduce me to the man behind the STREETART. We REROCKED a bag together on our first efforts to see if we would WORK. This is a bag I proudly use to this day. This was the bag that brought me to Roberta and started the ball rolling...
45 Revolver is a purist. VINYL IS FINAL with this dj. I did not have a logo and needed help with my BIZness cards, Jason Palmer aka 45 Revolver offered to help and gave me the FRESHEST BIZcard and Logo! Check out his FINEST mix at http://45revolver.net.
